The Last 5 Months

Yet again, time has completely flown by and we are now nearly in June! What has happened in the last 5 months?

January and February were pretty quiet, as usual, but a nice welcome after being so busy over the Christmas holiday.

In March I took part in the #MarchMeetTheMaker 2019 which consisted of posting a picture on Instagram every day during the month following various prompts. I loved this! It was great to showcase what I was currently working on as well as bringing up some old photos from my uni days. It was also nice to give people a bit more of an insight into myself as a maker.

The majority of April I was off on Easter holidays! I did a bit more work on the Menagerie Collection, developing my range of homeware/artwork creating various retro signs. I am really enjoying working on a larger scale and being able to produce more intricate graphics into my designs.

On the 12th May I took part in my first fair of 2019 which was in Coggeshall, near Colchester. I don't really do many fairs during the spring or summer months but was excited to be invited along to attend.

The Feel Good Fair is a monthly green market which is 100% vegan and ethical in its approach. It was a interesting fair to be apart of, my first of this kind; the stall holders were all really lovely and there was some great food on offer. To top it off the new signs went down really well! I'd definitely like to be part of it again.
